27B version of Moroccan Darija-centric LLM outsourced, chat demo goes live
#Morocco #France #UAE #LLMs (MEAIN) - Atlas-Chat-9B, one of the Atlas series of large language models for Moroccan Arabic, developed as part of G42 Group’s Jais LLM initiative, now has a live demo page on Hugging Face. A team of researchers led by MBZUAI France Lab, the Paris-based lab of Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) developed the Atlas family of LLMs focused on the Moroccan Arabic language dialect (or Darija). Two small language models (SLMs), Atlas-Chat-2B and Atlas-Chat-9B, were open-sourced in September, followed by Atlas-Chat-27B in October.
